English powerpoint: LIFE IN AFGHANISTAN LIFE IN AFGHANISTAN

Reading a text about Sharbat Gula, the Afghan girl whose picture was a cover of the National Geographic magazine back in 1984, made me look for information about the country to use it as a means of improving the students´ knowledge of other cultures as well as their tolerance. I took some of the pictures from a slideshow I found in the American Embassy of Afghanistan´s website. Some of the images may be a little bit hard for the students. I hope you find it useful
