Where is the Love (lesson presentation)
I have always thought that the Black Eyed Peas "Where is the Love" song is full of interesting images and icons. I think there is a lot to discuss in this poem. There is a lot of religious terminology I want my classes to be familiar with besides a host of modern terms such as the "KKK", Bloods, usage of slang, etc. I think this presentation can facilitate a lecture/conversation and discussion of the poem and give information about a lot of the new terminology introduced in the poem. I have taught the poem before but I am not sure the children can grasp all of the meanings by themselves. I hope this helps.
