The American Education System
This is a Powerpoint that I created about the American Education System. It breaks down the various levels and schools (pre-school, elementary, middle, and high schools), describing each of them, based on my experience. I included an explanation of community colleges, which are growing in popularity in the USA but which sometimes don´t have an equivalent in other countries. I include links to a high school where I taught as well as all three universities I attended; you might want to take these out. In the high school section, there´s a link to ´Stick to the Status Quo´ from High School Musical, as this song deals with cliques in American high school life. I will be uploading a worksheet that students used when I gave this presentation to 12-year-old Philosophy students in Spain.
