Different Landscapes
A powerpoint that introduces students to some of the features of different landscapes, the last slide is the desert, the forest, the tundra, the jungle and the plains. A fun activity to do with this either after or during the presentation is to ask students to close their eyes and imagine they are there and ask them what can you hear, what can you smell, what can you see etc and another a fun follow up game can be to have students draw different landscapes from a hat and describe it to their partner and their partner has to guess where they are, or their partner has to ask yes or no answer questions about the place to make it a little more difficult.
