What I used to read and watch when I was a little girl - used to+infinitive and would+infinitive
used to+infinitive and would+infinitive
First, show your students a book that you´ve recently read. Then: You show your students the PPT and tell them what you used to read and watch when you were really little. Then, they will tell you about their childhood books and films. Then, you present them the rules for used to and would and they will write them down. Then, you go on to tell them that you really like to think about those happy childhood days. Then, go on to talk with them about the quotation. Then, talk about the Wordsworth poem. The students are supposed to explain what the lyrical I used to/ would do/ experience as a child. I did this with 10th graders and they liked it.
