sentence structure
This is a semi-controlled game which allows learners to randomly create sentences through the use of patterned cards. The learner will need to figure out if a ´be´ form is required or if the sentence is about the past, present or future. I played this with young learners who don´t normally like writing. After a while they were adding their own words to the sentences and having a laugh making funny ones. As a follow up I got them to write them into notebooks and we analysed the structures. Extra points were given when the sentences were extended using ´so´ and ´because´
