Conditional type III - What would you have done?
This is a PowerPoint presentation that I usually use as a follow-up activity after teaching the third conditional. Students read the embarrassing situations and come up with ideas on how they would have solved the problem. It can be done orally or students can be asked to write a short text in group. In either cases, they are supposed to speculate about past situations, and thus use the third conditional. It is usually a successful activity ... Portuguese students are good-humored and very imaginative!
