Fairy Tales - the project
I used this as a project- This power point presentation was the first step, where Ss had to think about the vocabulary, brainstorm about what fairy tales are, the ones the know about and then predict which band had a song with fairy tale references. We listened to the song "Brick by boring brick" by Paramore - see my worksheet - analyzed itīs meaning and fairy tale references. We finished off with rewriting the fairy tales into the 21st century versions. They enjoyed the project very much! I hope you do to!
