Golden Bell 1
This is a whole lesson game and it really is great fun. This game works well with large classes and can become extremely competitive. The questions begin at elementary and end at intermediate. The game tests students vocabulary, adjectives, use of verb tense and general knowledge. Students are divided into teams, about 5 teams works well, each team is given a small whiteboard and some board markers. They can decorate their board and put their team name on it. Teacher will change the slide and read the question + the 3 answers. Students have 30 seconds to decide the correct answer, write it on their board and hold the board up. Teams lose one ŽlifeŽ for each incorrect answer (I usually give them 10 lives per team). Teams who are late holding up the board also lose a life. The last team standing is the winner. Count down the last 10 seconds for each question round and get the students to count with you it adds to the atmosphere. Answers are at the end of the presentation. Have fun ^____^
