Itīs a pronunciation activity. AFter explaining the different pronunciations of -ed (/t/, /d/, /id/), show the students the verb in the past and ask them to pronounce it to you, then show them how to pronounce the ed correctly and ask them to read the sentence pronouncing it correctly.
