This game is excellent. I have used it from low beginner to high advanced students. It mainly practices vocabulary of any kind and speaking skills. you put a category in each box, and students put one representative of the team with their back to the screen. Then, they all see the category and shout out examples of the category. When their representative guesses the category, they get a point, and you move onto another category.
Example:
Category: months
Students say: january, february, march april!!!
Representative says: Months?
One point for the team who´s representative says the category right. you can do this with grammar (e.g. Present progressive, and students shout out "am running, am eating, he´s looking") or with specific vocabulary words (e.g. "garden" and students say "place outside the house")
This is a great activity with many variations, and the powerpoint is easily editable.
