English powerpoint: Christmas Tongue Twisters Christmas Tongue Twisters

This game can be used either on the IWB or as a printable. Suitable for small groups as well as whole class activities. Slides two and three contain Christmas Tongue Twisters. Ask the students to say the tongue twisters three times quickly. It gets really funny and hilarious. Also a good, funny way to teach phonics as it has a good mix of long vowel sounds, sound blends etc. For larger groups, slides 2,3 can be printed and tacked up. Slide 4 has 8 Christmas hats with numbers on them. Students pick a number and then read the corresponding tongue twister. Team which gets the whole tongue twister right, gets points. Enjoy :-)
