Disappearing Dialogue to practice Indefinate Pronouns
Ss read aloud to each other in pairs, maybe two or three times through. Tt progresses to next slide and Ss read aloud again. Process is repeated until the last slide (the last slide has an asterisk after the last work on the page). Each slide has progressively more gaps in place of words. By the last slide, Ss will have memorized the entire text.
The use of a PowerPoint presentation to do this makes it very easy to adapt for any kind of text. May this spark your imagination to make something much better than I did.
Dialogues can have many parts and so group sizes can be adjusted. Simple texts can be used so that the class can read together instead of to each other in pairs, etc. Any grammar point can be highlighted from such an activity.
