Expressing likes and dislikes
This power point presentation uses some food and drinks vocabulary for expressing likes and dislikes. The first section has a language model, and then it presents different food and drinks for your students to produce orally or in a written form following the model (I play hot potato with my students and I ask one person to express if they like to drink or to eat the food or drink that appears in screen). Then, I share a listening exercise whose link is in the comments section, and as a pre-listening activity, I ask students to guess what words are related to the pictures (They are: To eat, fruits, a piece of fruit, green apple, sour, red apple, grapes, and "I love.." -These words appear in the track-). Finally, the presentation has a model of a dialogue for expressing someone´s favorite food, and a filling-the-gap activity for students to complete it with their personal info).
