Show Me The Money (Simple Past or any tense)
Split the class into 2+ teams.
They choose a point value (100 = easy, simple verbs & 500 = irregular verbs).
If they are correct, they get the point values.
Team with the most points wins.
OPTION 1:
They must answer with the correct verb conjugated into the past tense (or whatever tense you´re working with). They can do this by writing on the board, writing on group whiteboards, or by calling an individual from the group.
OPTION 2:
Another way I´ve done this game is by splitting the class into two teams and going one-by-one. Choose the 1st person from Team A, and they choose the point value that they are comfortable with (those that are comfortable can choose more difficult ones -- those that are lower level can still contribute by choosing a lower scoring one). If they do not answer correctly, the first person from Team B gets a chance to steal the answer for half points. It is now Team B´s turn.
OPTION 3:
There are various other ways you could play this game, even with as few as 2 people.
