This ppt is based around the Bryan Adams song Summer of ´69. I have used this support an handout on the song. I have linked this to the topic of summer holiday experience. There is practice for the IELTS Long turn. The song can be used for spring board to build vocabualary for summer holiday experience. I used this in the context of Chinese students who have just commence their semester for from the summer. In the first lesson I had focused the students on basic vocabulary and did a cocktail activity on summer holidays. Please note I had inserted audion for this. You may need to do some adustments to the ppt if you desire to insert audio from your on files or play the song at an appropiate time in the lesson with your cd player etc.
