I made this ppt on Persona Hygiene for my kindergarteners. . I printed out the same and made into flash cards too .Each card was shown and questions were asked. Showing them the PPt and getting them to talk made my work easier. Many of the pictures were familiar to them . I have 33 children in my class and I have to do it during the circle time. I have been revising this topic quite often and the children seem to enjoy the same. Each day has been a new beginning as children come up with new responses. I am sure it will help many of my teacher colleagues in getting their students familiar with this topic. It would be a good idea to have 2 versions of the PPT; one as it is and the 2nd without text. Initially the PPT without the text can be shown to the children and they can be asked to share their understandings. Later the PPT with the text can be shown and children assisted to read the text. They can be assisted to see that the text talks of almost the same ideas that they came out with. This can also convey to children the power of the written word.
