Earano
This is a slide show to use with my printable worksheet, also titled "Earano", to use with the short romantic comedy film, Earano.
This slideshow consists of 4 slides of discussion questions, 2 slides introducing the film, a transition slide, and 1 slide of a short text summary adapted from the IMDB synopsis of the Cyrano de Bergerac story.
The discussion questions are also on the worksheet, but it works better if presented as a slide show.
WARNING
This lesson includes discussion of physical disability and there is a photo of a man in a wheelchair with a woman on his lap with her arms around his neck in the slideshow. It is a tasteful photo of a couple in love. The point of the film is to show that physical disabilities should be no obstacle to social acceptance (and love), but clearly this is an issue that may need to be handled with sensitivity.
