God of Love
“God of Love” (2011 Oscar Winner: Best Live Action Short) is a sweet short comedy film, written and directed by Luke Matheny. The story is about a jazz singer, Raymond Goodfellow (Matheny), who is also a champion darts player. Ray is in love with Kelly (Marian Brock), the drummer in his band, but the problem is that Kelly is in love with Ray´s best friend, lead guitar player, Fozzie (Christopher Hirsh). One night, Ray receives a mysterious gift, a box full of darts that, according to the included instruction leaflet, can make people fall in love with you. This slideshow, which is intended to be used with my worksheet of the same name, consists of 5 slides. Slides 1-3 consist of pictures to show before watching the movie. Slide 4 is a transitional slide. Slide 5 is intended to be shown after watching the movie. It is an informational slide with a picture and short text about "Cupid", who Ray has in effect become.
