Earth Day - Verb to be (fill in the blanks)

April 22nd is Earth Day. This PowerPoint showcases the winning artwork and 2 very short winning videos from the Green City, Clean Waters Art Contest, 2014. The descriptions of the pictures have blanks where the "to be" verb should be. Your students can fill in the blanks, and hopefully get inspired to make their own video, slide, or artwork to commemorate Earth Day. Included is a link to a Dvolver MovieMaker video I created as a sample of a fun end product. Dvolver MovieMaker is very easy to use, free, and highly motivating for students to practice their writing skills in a very creative way.
