EXTREME SPORTS AND PRESENT PERFECT GAME
This is a powerpoint version of a game I had posted here before, but focusing on extreme and traditional sports.
This is part one. I had to split it into two parts because the file was too heavy.
Game instructions:
Have some lively music on, place the students´ chairs in a circle, facing outwards. If you have 10 students, put 9 chairs (one student will always be standing).
After teaching "I´ve already ____" and "I´ve never _____", show each slide and pick a student. He or she will make a sentence according to his or her own experience, using "already" or "never".
After the student has produced the sentence, push the enter button to show the sentences (positive and negative). The students who have had the same experience will stand. The others remain sitting.
Then you play the music and they dance around the chairs. You stop the music and after a few seconds, everybody will try to get a seat. The student who doesn´t get a seat will make a sentence about the next slide.
This game makes students euphoric, so plan some transition for the next activity or use this to finish the class.
