This ppt may be used as an oral, warm-up activity before actually starting with the typical past continuous exercises. First, I asked my students to pay attention to the pictures for 15 seconds. Then, they had to remember what they had seen on them and report it to the class. You can increase the difficulty of this activity by taking out the past continuous sentences, so that they can guess.
