WEATHER, SEASONS, TIMES OF DAY, TEMPERATURES - PART 3 OF 5
First, let me apologize for there being 5 parts to this. Once again, the file limits have bitten me in the backside! This lesson is a format I´ve been using for about 4 yrs, and it has always worked well for me. I usually just do it on the board, but decided to put it into a ppt for larger classes. Included is a slide showing the format I use when I put it on the board. I draw it on the board piece by piece and get the students to explain each part as I go. By the time the whole thing is on the board, their understanding is (usually) crystal clear and they can readily describe the pictures. Time permitting, I often have them prepare a 3-day weather report based on 3 random pictures with a partner at the end of the class.
Again, sorry for the 5 ppts. I selected the pictures carefully to make sure I covered every imaginable weather variation.
