Random Topic Selector
Scenario: You´ve told students they will have to be ready to speak about one of several topics, e.g. one of 4 topics. You call a student or group to the front of the room. This PowerPoint displays the 4 topics and randomly selects and highlights one of them. This eliminates possible teacher bias in choosing a particular topic for a student. Various slides offer random selections from various numbers of topics i.e. 1-3, 1-4, 1-5, 1-6, 1-7, 1-8, 1-9, 1-10. In editing model just enter what your topics are and during presentation mode you figuratively role the dice. If you have a remote control with cursor/mouse capabilities, you can sit in the classroom (e.g. in the front or back row) and control the selection of a topic from your seat. Compatible with PowerPoint 2003, 2007, and 2010. However, security settings may have to be adjusted to allow the running of macros (the generation of random topic/number).
