Bet you didn t know Thanksgiving + Pictionary worksheet

I have a group of beginners this year. I have set up a monthly ritual to introduce them to the aspects of Anglo-Saxon civilization. I like to work on the “bet you didn’t know” videos as they are short and interesting. For this group I wanted to show them that it is not important to understand each word but to grasp the whole of a text or an oral comprehension in order to get the main idea. That�s why I adapted this video so that they could grasp the main notions related to Thanksgiving. I�m sorry I had to split this worksheet in two for “weight” issues. The first one is the pictionary part with words they will have to place in the text. The second one is the fill in the gaps exercise. The aesthetic aspect is not great but that was not the main point. Thank you for your comments and downloads. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
