My Summer Vacation
This is a worksheet that is specific to my own experiences in Japan, however, it can easily be used as a template for someone else...
Give students the worksheet on the following page and use your own summer vacation as a listening exercise, where they have to fill in the blanks. Then they have to write their own story about what they did on their summer vacation.
During the summer holidays, I went on a trip for 10 days! I went to Himeji, Nara, Kyoto, Tokyo, Hiroshima and Miyajima. I went with my sister. We went by train. It was very fun.
We saw many things. In Himeji we saw the famous castle. My favourite thing was the daibutsu in Nara. It was amazing! I also enjoyed sanjusan gendo in Kyoto.
We had a great time on our trip.
