ANNIE LEIBOVITZ
This is a lesson the students really like as many of them are not familiar with the figure of the photographer Annie Leibovitz and they find out a life and work they find fascinating.
The idea is to read the text all together in class with some biography of the artist while at the same time the teacher shows Annie�s photograhs to the students, starting with the early rolling stone covers, John Lennon & Mick Jagger photos and finishing with celebs photographs (Disnney photos and so on...)
After the intro to her work, the students will listen to an interview she had in David Letterman�s tv programme (link is provided) and answer the questions. They find this listening motivating as they can see the artist they have just read about talking about her photos in a real show.
