Something special
This handout needs some preparation. Put as many ordinary everyday items into a bag as there are students in your class. This could be: a candle, scissors, a tin of tuna, a pen, some toy ... .
Each student has to take one thing out of the bag - without looking! When everyone has their "thing" give them the handout. They have to pretend that their "thing" is something special and write down everything they can think of.
