Photograph Activity (photo story, picture)
This is a very interesting activity that can be done with any pictures of your choice. Here are the instructions:
Instructions:
1. Get into groups of 4.
2. Each group receives a different photograph.
3. Each team has to talk about the photograph and picks out all the interesting details about it for 10 minutes long (people, landscape, actions, period of the day, etc.). They should write their ideas onto this sheet of paper.
4. Each group goes in front of the classroom and describes its photo without showing it to the rest of the class. Students have to imagine what the photo looks like. The group presentation lasts for 2 minutes maximum.
5. After the description, they show the picture and see if it is what their classmates imagined.
