Looking forward to & Don�t forget to (school activitis)
1. This is a set of cards for learning the expressions looking forward to and don´t forget to.
2. You can print out this form and make two sets of card: one set has I´m looking forward to on the front, and each school activity on the back. The other set has Don´t forget to on the front, the things one should keep in mind for a school event on the back.
3. Pair up your students. Explain the activity:
a. Setting: give each pair two cards sets of looking forward to and don´t forget to(target expressions). Students read the activities on the back of the cards and put the cards with the target expression side up, trying to remember where each card is located on the desk.
b. One student picks one of looking forward to cards. S/he flips it and say "I´m looking forward to...(the activity on his/her chosen card)...". The other student tries to find the corresponding don´t forget to card by flipping. When s/he finds the right don´t forget to card, s/he says "Don´t forget to...(the corresponding reminder)...".
c. The person who flips the cards less than the other for answering wins the game.
4. The above is just one of the suggestions for using these card sets. You can make up your own lesson plan/game with this!
