This is a warm-up activity I do with teenagers and adults. Students form pairs, I give each pair a card. One student asks the questions, the other answers, trying to expand the conversation where possible. On completion they exchange cards with another group and repeat the activity in reversed roles. I do this activity every lesson for six or seven minutes until they can do it fluently. I also listen out for any problems they have with the grammar used and review where necessary.
