Compound Nouns (Pair Practice)
Students work in pairs to test their knoweldge of compound nouns. Student A starts first. They read each of the clues (excluding the compound noun in brackets) to Student B, who proceeds to identify correct compound noun from the box above. Student B gets a maximum of two tries. If he gets it right, Student A gives them a tick. If it is wrong, then Student A gives them a cross. Rinse and repeat.
After Student A has finished reading out all the clues, they give Student B a total out of 12. Afterwards, Student A and B switch roles.
