First, I give the lyrics to the students so they can work on the text ( looking for the passive voice, the present perfect, compare, define hopeless and defenseless, find synonyms, understand the use of "to" to express a goal. Then, in groups, I ask each group to translate a part of the lyrics into their language. Finally, I tell them it is sung by Lauren Daigle and we listen to the song paying attention to the rimes.
