A reading assignment based on Ray Bradbury�s short story, "All Summer in a Day." This assignment tasks students with reading the short story (or listening to it through the provided QR code) and then doing a close reading and analysis of specific highlighted passages and metaphors. Students will have to think critically about the meaning of the metaphors, and provide their own answers for some open ended questions and some text specific questions. Task should take between 45 minutes to an hour (depending on overall fluency of the class).
