Halloween Charades
Find 18 or whatever number of Halloween characters picture: Dracula, Jack-o-lantern, Ghost, Haunted house, Frankenstein, Black cat, Spider, Scarecrow, Bat, Mummy, Witch, Cauldron, Skeleton, Candies, Trick or Treat bag, Broom, Mask, Werewolf etc.
Have the students in teams and play charades describing these characters using the worksheet for hints on how to describe.
One member from a team comes up a takes 1 Halloween character/object, doesn�t show it to his/her team members. Each team describes to their own members and the members have to guess. They have 1 minute to guess. Each team has 2 tries/chances if they guess wrong on the second try. Then the turn goes to the next team.
Team with the most correct guesses wins.
Words to use:
"What is it?" after each description.
"Yes, you are right."
"No try again."
