This worksheet begins with two paragraphs describing two wildly different people- I give one half of the class one description, the other class the other, then put them together and ask them to conclude why they think the author contrasted these two people. Then I read them the conclusion, which explains the idea of emotional intelligence. This is followed by statements on emotional intelligence with Ss then have to agree or disagree with, and a vocabulary matching related to the topic.
