Welcome to
ESL Printables,
the website where English Language teachers exchange resources:
worksheets, lesson plans, activities, etc.
Our collection is growing every day with the help of many teachers. If
you want to download you have to send your own contributions.
This is how I would do the activity:
1. Put Ss into pairs.
2. Show some pictures of werewolves. Elicit responses. Then write on the white board: How do you become a werewolf? How do you kill a werewolf? What are some things that werewolf stories all have in common? Students discuss.
3. Elicit responses. Write a few down.
4. Play listening up to 9:26. YouTube link is included. Class sees how many predictions on the white board are mentioned.
5. Handout question sheet. Ss answer based on what they remember.
6. Play listening again.
7. Handout the included tapescript. Ss check their answers.
8. Elicit answers or handout answer sheet (included)
Hope it helps :-).
