Here�s a scary ghost story aimed at teenagers at pre-intermediate and intermediate levels. Students read the story, answer some comprehension questions and imagine and write the ending. Then, they read the true ending, compare it to theirs and answer some more comprehension questions. Finally, there are some discussion questions for students to focus on speaking. This story is written using past narrative tenses (Past Simple, Past Continuous and Past Perfect Simple), so you can use this story to passively introduce these tenses, to provide your students with further and richer exposure to these tenses or simply to practise them. Enjoy!
