Guess it Game (Sword in the Stone)
You will love doing this activity with your students!!! It allows them to speak and have fun!!!
Here are the instructions:
a) Students will receive some cut out pieces of paper.
b) On these pieces, there are five words listed as well as one underlined word.
c) In teams of four, students have to pick out one piece of paper, in turn, and talk to the other members of the team about a specific word, the underlined one, without mentioning it obviously. To help them, they can use the five other words provided.
d) When someone finds the word, it is the go of someone else and so forth.
e) The teacher moves around to make sure everyone speaks English and to help students in saying some sentences in English.
f) This activity lasts about 30 minutes.
