APRIL IN MOSCOW (by Stephen Rabley). Penguin Reader, Level 1. 200 words. Ask students to read the story. In class, divide the students into pairs or small groups. Divide the questions among the pairs or students in small groups. Students ask and answer the questions. The teacher calls on individual students to answer the questions at the end of class. Before handing out the papers, the teacher may decide to do some dictation, e.g., the teacher reads ten questions and then asks one or more students to write the questions on the blackboard or orally repeat what they have written.
