Gg Picture Covers: An exercise in phonics with answer key and cumulative notes.
Gg. Here is another idea for you. Cover all the pictures with chips, then a student rolls a dice (die) and can uncover the number of pictures thrown. Any pictures which are not identified, or read, correctly are recovered with chips and play passes to the next player. Chips can again be used as points if you wish. The teacher, if playing, should play last and take the chips primarily from any pictures that students have faied to identify.
Another simple chant. /G/, /g/,. Gorilla. (x 2), whilst pounding your chest (or the desk) like a gorilla. Have fun chasing after your students as if you’re a big silver-back gorilla. Please, don’t make them cry.
More of this series are coming sometime next week.
