What X do you like? Snakes and Ladders
Students take turns moving around the board asking the question "What X do you like?"
When a player lands on a space, the others must ask them, for example, "What food do you like?"
I have played this successfully with 5 year old students over ZOOM, so I think it can work well with any age level.
The game takes at least 20 minutes with two players. It can go faster or slower depending on your luck.
There are 50 squares and you will not land on all of them, so there is a lot of replayability.
I think there should be more ladders than snakes, and there should be at least 1 ladder for every ten squares.
The teacher can hide their rolls to purposely land on certain squares they want their students to practice!
Some countries, such as Japan, are not familiar with the concept of sliding down snakes so you might have to explain that.
I accidentally misplaced the yellow snake, it actually sends you forward rather than backwards. You can tell the students the snake is confused or friendly!
The small pictures are actually emoji, they were the highest quality pictures I could find that would fit such a small space.
I have made many similar board games, so please check my user profile.
Hope it helps!
