A very detailed rubric for a project where the students create a book about their classmate/friend. They need to meet their classmate first to prepare an interview and then they create a book, either in powerpoint or putting a few pieces of paper together. I had kids create the most wonderful real-book-looking project. It also helped to build the team spirit and relationships in the class.
