"Scattegories" cards
Played like Scattegories:
Photocopy and cut out a card for each student (make sure the students all have the same card! switch to a different card for the next round); cut out letters and place in a pile on the desk face-down. Teacher picks a letter at random, and students have to think of word that begins with that letter that fits into the different categories on their card within the allotted time (to be determined by the teacher). If any students come up with the same answer, they donīt get a point - so try to be original in your answers!
