Are you my mother story paraphrase
To develop students´ use of pictures in reading comprehension, I cut up these sentences and placed them in a bag. Then I gave students copies of the illustrations from the corresponding pages from the Are You My Mother book, which I have used to teach question formation as well as reading comprehension. They use the pictures to decide which sentence tells about what is happening. The sentences are not the same as the ones in the book, which makes them think.
