Click it or ticket - Why should I use the seatbelt?

This one is a pair work task in which two Ss are just about to go somewhere in a car but the passenger refuses to fasten the seatbelt. He/She has a lot of reasons why not to buckle up. The driver has to convince him/her that he/she should. You might want to start the class on a conversation about what students think about seatbelts, then go on to the reading task, and finally do the persuasion task. Page 2 contains example refutations of the anti-seatbelt arguments. On Page 3 you´ll find the solutions. Enjoy! :)
