Excuses
This is a worksheet through which students will practice ways of making excuses in English. The activity is meant to be done in pairs, and consists of 2 situations: the first one requires them to invent 3 excuses for a particular situation and in the second one they deal with the excuses of their partner and respond to them as they wish. The first step consists of making the excuses and then, they are asked to build a conversation, representing each situation, in which they will choose one, 2 or the 3 excuses they made up.
