Personality Card: Ivy Walker
This is the second in a series of personal information cards I’m making. I use them in the constant battle of making students speak! : )I have made cards about people from films we are going to work with/ have worked with. This card is about the character "Ivy Walker" from the film called "The Village". It is not neccesary to have seen the film before you use the card. I use them in two different ways:
• Students get a card each. I ask different questions, e.g. “Where were you born”, “What’s your favourite colour”, “Tell about your family”. The students look at their card and find the information.
• Students work in pairs. One is the interviewer; the other has a personality card. This also works very well and is at present my student’s favourite activity in our lessons.
