Making suggestions and giving advice
This is a very useful handout about giving advice and suggestions. Itīs 2 pages: front and back, but for some reason, the 2nd page can only be seen in the preview. First, it provides images of things you should do such as buckling your seatbelt or brushing your teeth after you eat. Then it asks the students to tell us three things we shouldnīt do. Thereīs a fill in the blank where students either fill in should or shouldnīt. I also made a section to get students engaged in conversation by asking them about their opinions about issues. For example, should men get paid more than women etc. Students love to put in their own two thoughts. Thereīt also some useful expressions that students can use when making suggestions. Finally thereīs a tongue twister, which I usually have students say in front of the class. They have a lot of fun with the tongue twister. It takes me about an entire class to go through the worksheet with students. Enjoy.
