This exercise allows us to find out our students’ English level. The idea is to put typical mistakes in the text and ask the students to find them. In this text I wrote about myself because my students were interested to know about me, their teacher. So it is a good idea to change the text and talk about yourself. The idea is to motivate students to read it and to make the effort of correct it.
